I too think that this picture was taken at the time of either King George V Jubilee in 1935, or to celebrate the coronation of King George V1 in 1937.
A clue can be found in the 3rd house from the left. This was the home of Mr and Mrs Holbrooke and their two children.Eileen born about 1920 and Arnold born about 1923 or 1924.
They can be seen with their Mum standing in the doorway of their home.Looking at Arnold in his short trousers, makes me believe it was 1935.
But just watch, some clever Dick will come up with copy of the original photo with 1937 stamped on the back of it.

My Mum, who was born in the next block to the right, says the Castles were first on the right with their son Maurice. Mrs Castle ran a sweet shop from her front room and you can see the sweet jars in the window! Some other names who lived in the block were Kilner, Watson, Holbrook and Wilson. Thinks it might be George V Jubilee or George VI Coronation.

Nobody seems to know anything much about this picture or what was being celebrated?
The picture looks to date from the 1930's and they are obviously celebrating something.
If it was a big event why was only that row not the next trimmed up too?

Any information would be appreciated maybe you might even recognise someone?
