This view of Calder Road shows little change, the only major change being the demolition of the building in the foreground to provide the side car park for the Yorkshire Volunteer. The Taxi office
and "Hari's" Fish and Chip shop remain almost untouched. Butt End mill in the background other than a few remaining low buildings is completely gone. During its heyday Butt End produced blankets for sale all over
the empire.
