In this view looking down Hopton Ln (Hopton Hill) the terrace houses on the right look almost unchanged right down to the chimney pots. Looking into the distance on the old photo you can
see Granny Ln and Stennard Ln winding along through the fields to Fir Cottage, compared to the present day mass of houses in the bottom of the valley.
