Well now's your opportunity for fame & fortune, well, maybe we should skip the fortune bit!

The quest has started to find the person with the best local knowledge!

Part one of the quiz competition as now been judged and prises awarded, this quiz will remain on line so you can still complete it and submit it for scoring. The hall of fame will still be updated accordingly, but no further prises will be awarded.

Complete the quiz in your own time. You can use the submit button to e-mail me your answers, either a part at a time or when you have completed the two quizzes.

Your score will be recorded in the "HALL OF FAME" for all to see. You are allowed to resubmit your answers so you can make a start straight away if you wish.

First prize will be:

A copy of Looking A Century of Huddersfield by Brian Haigh & Susan Gilloooley, plus a copy of this site on CD to enable you to browse it off line, without the internet.

Second prize will be:

For any question that proves impossible to answer further clues will be added up to the first correct submission.

In the event of a tie then a tie breaker picture will be published and the first correct responder will be the winner.
