In 2000 I compiled a book 'Looking Back at Mirfield', which to date has raised over £14,300 for Yorkshire Cancer Research, Kirkwood Hospice, Macmillan Nurses and the British Heart Foundation.
I am writing to ask if you would consider sponsoring my companion volume 'Changing Face of Mirfield' which I propose to publish in October 2003. Would you consider sponsoring a suggested amount of £25
or more?
The book will contain approx. 200 photographs of Mirfield showing different views of the town to those included in the first book, but featuring well known sites such as the Parish Church, Community of
the Resurrection, as well as many old houses which are no longer here today.
At the time of printing, the names of all the sponsors will be included in the book, though not the amount of money, and all will be invited to the launch where each sponsor will be presented with a
signed copy of the book. Again all profits from the sale of the book will go to the same charities.
