This site was created using NETOBJECTS NETFUSION7, probably the simplest and fastest site authoring package there is.
The content of the book pages are transfered to web pages by converting the images to jpegs and then importing them along with the text into the web page, their quality is no where near the quality
of the book due to the high compression and reduced resolution. But the overall result of speed versus quality isn't too bad.
The page backgrounds were created using Corel Photo Paint 11 from a photograph of the welcome to Mirfield sign and sketches in "A History Of Mirfield by H.N. Pobjoy".
The site is hosted by 1&1.
