I'm looking for any information on a property at 9 granny lane which used to be a lemonade factory between 1860-1916 and more recently a joiners shop up until 1983 run by Fred Stead and
his son. The house dates back to around 1703 and we believe was a Blacksmiths at some point. I believe it was a joiners shop from around 1930's and Fred Stead died suddenly by taking his own life in the property. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, during family tree research I have discovered that Ann Elizabeth Riley married a Wright Robinson, from Mirfield. Both of them were blind, & Wright was a musician - probably a pianist, as from the 1901 & 1911 censuses he was listed as a piano tuner rather than a musician. Since he was a blind musician, I expect this would have given him some local notoriety. Does anyone know anything about him?
